Crunchy Chocolate Bars
Crispy wafer-style bars coated in smooth milk chocolate for a strong crisp, chocolate vibe.
Ingredients
- Wafers or biscuit sticks (enough to fill a tray)
- 350–400 g milk chocolate
- 1–2 tablespoons butter or coconut oil
- Optional: flaky salt for topping
Steps
- Prepare a tray with baking paper so the bars do not stick.
- Break the chocolate into pieces and melt it gently in a bowl over hot water or in short microwave bursts.
- Stir in the butter or coconut oil until the chocolate is smooth and slightly thinner.
- Dip each wafer or biscuit stick into the melted chocolate until fully coated.
- Place the coated wafers onto the baking paper and sprinkle a little flaky salt if you like.
- Let the bars set at room temperature or in the fridge until the chocolate is firm, then serve.
Tip: Store the bars in an airtight box in a cool place so they stay crisp.
